Community Update: Highlights from Our Recent HOA Board Meeting
We recently held our HOA board meeting and appreciate the strong participation and engagement from our community.
Jacade, provided a thoughtful and practical overview of our financial position—where we have been and where we are headed. His clear, real-world perspective inspires confidence, and we are fortunate to have his steady guidance in managing our community’s finances.
Debbie presented an update on the pond maintenance efforts, specifically addressing the need for additional trimming related to our bore issue. Early results suggest these measures are having a positive impact and may lead to significant cost savings for the community.
Ernie shared a comprehensive overview of broader concerns, including upcoming water challenges. He highlighted factors such as canal conditions, increased demand from new housing developments, and the effects of ongoing drought. He also reminded us that irrigation for our common areas and lawns relies entirely on surface runoff from the mountains. It is difficult to imagine the board without Ernie, as he has spent many years calmly and thoughtfully guiding solutions for our community. While stepping down from his official role, his experience and insight will undoubtedly continue to be a valued resource.
Jason did an excellent job addressing questions from attendees, ensuring that everyone had the opportunity to be heard. The level of participation and the quality of the discussion reflected a strong and engaged community.
Carol will also be stepping down from the board. Like Ernie, we are pleased she will remain active in our neighborhood and continue to participate in community events. We are grateful for her service and dedication
